Terms of use

Dictate is a dictation aid published by Yeshwant Legal Associates. These notices are product terms, not a legal opinion.

Who may use it

You must be able to form a binding contract. If you use Dictate for a client or an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to bind that use to these terms.

These terms are between you and Yeshwant Legal Associates. They apply to the dictation studio, notes, meetings, dictionary, and snippets on this device.

Licence

Yeshwant Legal Associates grants you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use Dictate for lawful drafting. You do not receive any right in the software, name, or icon.

You own the text you dictate, subject to the rights of anyone else whose words or data you included. You are responsible for having consent to record other people where the law requires it.

Acceptable limit

Use must follow the Acceptable use and cybersecurity notice. Breach, including any attempt to use the app for cyber fraud, ends this licence immediately.

Liability

Dictate is provided as available. To the extent the law allows, Yeshwant Legal Associates is not liable for lost text, a wrong transcription, a missed limitation date, or a loss caused by your decision to send or file unchecked text.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction, without affecting a right that must be heard elsewhere.
