What stays on this device
Documents, scratch notes, meeting notes, the dictionary, snippets, and usage counts are stored in this browser. They are not uploaded as a cloud library by this app.
Clear them at any time from Settings. Resetting the app deletes that local copy from this browser.
Audio
The microphone is used only after you tap speak or record, and only after you accept these terms. The recording is sent for transcription and is not kept as a file in the app after that request finishes.
Do not dictate passwords, one-time codes, card numbers, or authentication secrets.
What we do not collect
Dictate does not ask for an account password, and it does not build a profile for advertising. Firm credit on the screen is not a sign-up form.
